Reversible Placemat
This class features a placemat as the
project. We will learn the basics of the Cotton Theory
Method that will be the building blocks for all other Cotton
Theory Projects. This class is a
pre-requisite
for all other Cotton Theory workshops.
The kit will include
pre-cut fabric, batting, the Cotton Theory adhesive seam
guide, a 1" x 6" ruler, a 90/14 machine needle in a free
notions keeper. Threads will be available for class
use.

Reversible Table
Runner or Topper
This class will focus on how to properly
align a
table runner which is done in a straight line or a table
topper which has both horizontal and vertical
alignments.
We will have the opportunity to learn
reversible binding
so that your project will have bindings that match on each
side. In this class we will be doing
channel quilting
techniques however, we will have embroidered panels that may
be purchased.
There will be several
kit choices. Each kit will include pre-cut fabric,
batting and a 90/14 machine needle. Threads will be
made available for use in class.

Reversible
Rug Workshop
This class features 2 sizes of rugs (runners) from Cotton
Theory Book II or booklets. This is truly durable for
use as a rug. The class will be adding to the skills
you learned in the placemat class. You will learn the
highway, aligned intersections, and reversible binding.
To make your quilted
rug a one of a kind, we offer a variety of choices for front
and back. Kits will also include pre-cut batting, a
90/14 needle, and 2 spools of decorative thread.

Reversible Bath Mat
Workshop
This class will focus on how to construct a Bath Mat from
Cotton Theory Book I. This class features the
Highway Method
of attaching strips and the
One-Way Street Method
of attaching rows. You will be given a choice of 2
styles of mats, giving you the opportunity to see how you
can take an
existing pattern and change it.
Alternate
binding techniques
will be taught. To make your quilt a unique one of a
kind, we offer a variety of choices for front and back.
Kits also include pre-cut batting, a 90/14 needle, and 2
spools of decorative thread.

Tote Bag
Workshop
This class will focus on
constructing a reversible tote bag using the
Highway
and
One-Way Street
construction methods. We will learn
alignment, how to join the side
seams and fold to create a finished seam that makes the bag
reversible. We will also use
reversible binding
so each side is unique. We will be doing various
styles of channel quilting
in the center or we have a variety of embroidered centers
that may be purchased.
There will be several
kit choices. Kits will include pre-cut fabric, batting
and a 90/14 machine needle. Threads will be made
available for use in class.

Quilt
Workshop
In
this class
you will have a choice of several quilt projects. In
Cotton Theory Book I, there is a Baby Quilt, and the
Tick-Tack-Toe Quilt. In Cotton Theory Booklets, there
is the Courthouse Steps, Fly Away Home, and a new pattern
Scenes of Winter. This class features the
Highway Method
of attaching strips and the
One-Way Street Method
of attaching rows. You will learn to use
connectors
to join the rows together to form your quilt. This is
all done by machine and it appears as though you've
completed two quilts since both sides are different.
To make your quilt a
one of a kind, we offer a variety of choices for front and
back. Kits will also include pre-cut batting, a 90/14
needle, and 2 spools of decorative thread.

Piecing
Workshop
Cotton Theory pattern booklets; 3-D Pinwheels, Fly Away
Home, or Dancing Stars will be used to teach the art of
combining quilt piecing with the Cotton Theory Method.
You will also learn about
alignment and converting patterns to a different project.
These Projects can be
made into table runners, placemats, or full-size quilts.
You may want to enlarge the project or cut it down and we
will help you achieve your goal.
There will be several
kit choices. Kit includes pre-cut fabric, batting and
a 90/14 machine needle. Threads will be available for
class use.

Advanced Tote Bag
Workshop
In this class you will have a choice of tote bags. You
may choose to do a bag that requires
piecing, embroidery, appliqué
embroidery, or bobbin work with silk ribbons or heavy
variegated wool threads.
You will have the opportunity to explore how threads and
ribbons can be used to create dimension in a bag. You
will learn how to join the side seams and fold to create a
finished seam that makes the bag reversible. You will
also learn how to create a
boxed corner without sewing a
stitch and how to apply a
reversible binding.
Kits will include pre-cut fabric, batting,
silk ribbon, heavy wool thread, or ultra-suede depending on
the kit chosen. Threads will be made
available for class use.
